Siying plays an important role on every project, collaborating with teams across a wide variety of commissions, altering models as needed, and, in general, ensuring the accuracy of deliverables. She especially enjoys the design phase of projects because it inspires creativity and the development of new ideas.
Before joining SGA, Siying worked as an intern architect at UNITEDLAB Associates in New York City. In that capacity, she worked on proposals, produced drawings and renderings, and contributed to competition entries. In her position at SGA, she’s turning theory into practice by supporting projects that are already underway.
Siying earned the degrees of Bachelor of Architecture from SCI-Arc and Master of Science in advanced architectural design from Columbia University. Outside of the office, she likes watching science fiction films, visiting museums and galleries, and painting with oils or pastels.
