Shikai enjoys generating and discussing ideas with his co-workers, which makes his job an excellent fit for his inquisitive nature. Although he typically focuses on technical drawings for design development, he regularly seeks out opportunities to help project teams accomplish challenging tasks and explore alternative approaches.
Shikai joined SGA shortly after graduating from Pratt Institute, where he earned a Master of Architecture degree. He also received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Hubei Institute of Fine Art in Wuhan, China. Between his undergraduate and graduate studies, he completed an internship with a professor of architecture in Wuhan, designing a retail prototype for an exhibition hall in Shanghai.
A native of Canton, China, Shikai spends his spare time working out, running, climbing, and playing basketball or badminton. His fascination with 3D visual design has prompted him to master software for animation. His next goal is to tackle virtual reality.
