Lauren, who specializes in the academic sector, serves as a designer, planner, programmer, team manager, and business development lead. This combination of external- and internal-facing roles is perfect for her: She loves to grow and maintain client relationships, mentor young professionals, and work through complex projects that realize an institution’s vision. Over the course of her career, she has developed a reputation for blending beautiful design with practical programming.
Lauren’s experience lies in programming, planning, and in a wide variety of academic building typologies – including libraries, performing and visual arts centers, chapels, science and technology facilities, student centers, maker spaces, residence halls, and more.
As thought leader in the industry, Lauren has a passion for planning that enhances the student experience and has spoken on a national level at multiple academic conferences on the topics of wellness, inclusivity, campus planning for student engagement, safety, and designing spaces for women. Recently taking the stage at SXSW EDU to discuss, “Empowering Students Through Thoughtful Design.”

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, two young kids (Quinn and Beck), and the family’s cockapoo named Rhubarb.
