Before joining SGA, Kara served as a senior project manager and studio leader at Dyer Brown. During her 12 years there she started as a designer and soon discovered her passion for project management where she started to hone her management and leadership skills. Kara has worked on a variety of project types.
As a member of IIDA since she started her career Kara has served on the IIDA New England Board of Directors for the past 6 years and is the current president of IIDA New England’s Chapter.
Kara earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston graduating cum laude. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include yoga, skiing, and just about anything outside. Kara also loves to travel the world and explore new places she has never been.
