Christie’s background in both architecture and interior design supports her holistic approach to projects, which span multiple sectors. Whether she’s working on conceptual development, massing, site planning, façade upgrades, lobby design, or fit-outs, her ultimate goal is to achieve cohesion between a structure’s interior and exterior.
Before joining SGA in New York, Christie spent four years at Margulies Peruzzi Architects in Boston. Initially she served as an interior designer, focusing on corporate work, tenant fit-outs, and retail bank assignments. More recently she held the role of architectural designer, in which capacity she honed her skills in core & shell projects, improvements, and repositioning.
Christie earned a BFA in interior design from Endicott College and a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College. In 2020 she participated in IIDA’s Emerging Leaders program.
Outside of the office, Christie enjoys visiting museums, enhancing her knowledge of architectural history, listening to music, running, and exploring new places. As a recent transplant to New York City, she is eagerly pursuing each of these activities.
