SGA RECENTLY COMPLETED AN EXPANSION AND RE-STACK OF SEVERAL FLOORS AT ZILLOW GROUP’S HEADQUARTERS IN MANHATTAN.
In addition to adding 24,000 square feet across two floors, SGA provided updates to the existing floors to create a fully functional and cohesive space.
SGA used 3D modeling to design the space. This process involved the creation of interlocking Revit models for each floor, complete with materials, finishes, furniture, branded elements, lighting, and mechanical equipment.
The company has been increasingly opening its doors to clients, therefore it was important to create a client-facing space that would be appropriate for meetings. In addition, the office’s expansion was planned with the employee experience in mind, aiming to create a space that would not only benefit current employees but also attract future talent.
SGA incorporated Enscape virtual walkthroughs, enabling stakeholders in several North American cities to envision space, approve programmatic options, and make faster decisions in real time.
“We wanted to create a space where our staff could feel at home and do their work in a positive environment while maintaining a professional, client-facing space,” said Zillow Facilities Manager Daniel Warner. “The end result is an impressive complement of these ideas and we are excited to welcome our team to the new space.”
Collaboration and communication were key areas of focus. The space features an open floor plan, “break-out spaces,” and traditional conference rooms with state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment.
