SGA designed the renovated roof deck at Exchange Place
(53 state street),
one of Boston’s tallest and most distinctive skyscrapers. The roof deck serves as a showpiece space for the 41-story, 510-foot building, which combines the historic granite and marble Boston Stock Exchange with a modern glass tower.

Containing 7,920 square feet, the deck offers tenants a trendy, al fresco atmosphere where they can gather, entertain, and enjoy striking views of Boston’s downtown, the North End, the Seaport, and Boston Harbor.

To enhance the sophisticated atmosphere, SGA selected concrete and IPE-wood-floor decking bordered by glass guardrails, created a pavilion enclosure and vestibule, and added a fire and water feature.
