Working with Jumbo Capital and GenLabs, SGA led the repositioning, which involved significant infrastructure upgrades, a redesigned interior, and an enhanced suite of amenities. The result is a modern, flexible destination that supports productivity and innovation while maintaining a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere.
Central to the redesign was the expansive 9,000-square-foot amenity center, strategically crafted to enrich the user experience. This vibrant hub features a relocated gym, a multipurpose training room, a lounge, shared conference area, and an immersive multi-sport simulator. The existing café, situated at the heart of the building, was incorporated into the new layout, complementing the upgraded areas and preserving a consistent flow throughout the space.
The renovation blends new improvements with the building’s existing character for long-term flexibility and adaptability for future use. Drawing inspiration from GenLabs’ brand identity, the design utilizes subtle yet impactful details, including the hexagon logo motif and a neutral, harmonious color palette. The striking multi-story moss wall in the lobby extends into the gym, serving as a biophilic focal point that underscores themes of wellness and sustainability.
Thoughtfully layered activity zones transition from the busy café to quieter areas such as the lounge, gaming room, and ancillary workspaces. The modular and moveable furniture throughout these sections grants adaptability, while privately enclosed spaces provide opportunities for focused work or social gatherings. Additionally, an operable partition between the multipurpose rooms allows for versatile functionalities while access to the exterior offers a connection to the outdoors.
