Steve brings nearly five decades of experience in design and real estate to his role at SGA, which he joined in 2019. He began his career as an engineer and project manager and eventually moved into operations and new business development, serving in senior positions at prominent firms specializing in architecture, engineering, construction, property management, and brokerage.
At SGA, Steve focuses on cultivating new client relationships in the academic, corporate interiors, and life sciences markets for both the Boston office, where he is based, and the New York City office. Because of his background in engineering and project management, he often participates in the initial stages of projects, when conceptual brainstorming and development takes place.
Steve received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. He is a frequent guest lecturer at both institutions, as well as at Wentworth Institute of Technology and the University of New Hampshire.
Outside of the office, Steve is active in a number of industry associations, including NAIOP, NEHES, SCUP, and CoreNet. He also participates in a wide range of community and volunteer initiatives through such organizations as The Fenway Alliance, Franciscan Children’s Hospital, the Boston YMCA, Merriam Village Elderly Housing, St. Julia’s Parish Center, and Archbishop Williams High School. In his remaining spare time, he plays golf, learns and reads about history, and follows the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics.
