As a member of SGA’s interiors and architecture studios, Rachel executes a wide range of tasks across many projects, from masterplans to fit-outs. She enjoys the variety of the work as well as the opportunity to collaborate and problem-solve with multiple teams. Her ultimate objective is to support the lives of communities and local stakeholders by engaging them in the design process.
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Architecture with minors in sustainability and construction management from Pratt Institute. During the summer before her last year of college, Rachel worked as an architectural intern at Perkins Eastman in New York City. There she specialized in corporate interiors, gaining experience in workplace design.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys baking bagels, focaccia, and all kinds of sweets; cooking pizza, pasta, and other dishes; and reading fiction, mysteries, and memoirs. During her studies she amassed a collection of design books, but had no time to read them. Now they’re at the top of her to-do list.
