Who We Are

Paul Clark, LEED® AP

Project Designer

Paul loves what he does because his projects have a positive impact on people’s lives. For this reason, he finds it rewarding to tour a finished space with clients and observe their reactions. At SGA, Paul specializes in labs, so his work has a direct effect on employee productivity, engagement, and innovation in the sector of life sciences.

Before joining the firm, Paul completed his graduate studies at Washington University of St. Louis, where he earned the degree of Master of Architecture. = He spent his summer internship at Boston-based Payette Architects, which spawned his interest in laboratory design.

In the interval between his undergraduate and graduate studies, Paul worked in New York City as a designer at Pei Architects, where he focused primarily on competitions for international projects. Earlier, he worked as a draftsman at Hill West Architects, gaining experience on high-rise residential commissions.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from Roger Williams University. Outside of the office, he enjoys sailing around Rhode Island. Visiting art exhibitions is another favorite pastime.
