Matt relishes the part he plays in enhancing the built environment. His role in projects begins with zoning analyses and feasibility studies to establish site plans for core and shell commissions. He then converts drawings to 3D visualizations for clients to review and develops conceptual designs that are carefully tailored to end-users. He loves seeing the impact of his creations on their surroundings once a project is completed.
Matt spent the majority of his 15+year career at SGA, with a three-year stint in Chicago as a project designer at Goettsch Partners. In that capacity, he gained extensive experience in the commercial market on both a local and international level.
A registered architect, Matt received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. Outside of the office, he enjoys the outdoors, hikes, kayaks, and travels, collecting maps and blankets from his journeys. He also spends as much time with his family dog, Polly, as possible, and serves in an extremely important position – the coach of SGA’s softball team.
