Kun views her role as a nurturer of projects, guiding them from conceptual design through construction. Accordingly, she immerses herself in each phase of a commission, handling a wide range of tasks that encompass vendor coordination, circulation studies, visualization exercises, and documentation.
At SGA, which she joined in February of 2021, Kun focuses on the corporate and life sciences sectors. She works on a variety of project types: core & shell, renovations, interiors, and adaptive re-use. Previously, Kun served as a designer for two years at Tsoi Kobus, where she gained experience in each of these areas and mastered techniques to facilitate workflows and increase productivity.
Kun earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling. To date, she has visited 40 countries and has studied several languages. Among her favorite destinations are isolated islands in the Pacific. Her other hobbies include hiking and driving – She received her license in 2017 and loves spending time on the road.
