Christina’s background encompasses both design and construction management. Her dual experience comes in handy at SGA, where she works on ground-up construction for life sciences and for multifamily housing. An avid learner, she looks forward to adding more sectors to her portfolio as her career progresses.
Before joining SGA, Christina served as an assistant project manager for The Haskell Company, an architecture, engineering, and construction firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. She spent a year with the company working on-site in Southern California, where she supervised the building of a processing facility and warehouse for a Korean noodle company. During her graduate studies, she worked part-time at an urban design/landscape architecture firm in St. Louis, preparing 3D models, massing studies, and presentations for a development in Bentonville, Arkansas, which includes a museum, food hall, and housing. She also completed an internship in New York for MASS Design Group, a Boston-based firm that specializes in mission-driven architecture, including community centers and food halls.
Christina earned a bachelor’s degree in design from the University of Florida and two master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis: one in architecture and the other in construction management. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking in nature and exploring cities in the U.S. and abroad. One of her regular travel destinations is Haiti, where she was raised.
