Chinmay works on all project phases across a variety of building types. He welcomes this diversity because he enjoys learning about all aspects of design and construction. By addressing the unique challenges of each project, he stays up to date on the latest technologies, industry developments, and architectural practices.
Before joining SGA, Chinmay served as a designer at Architectural Management Inc. in Medford, New Jersey. In that capacity he focused primarily on single-family residences. Previously he worked at Krishnan Parvez Architects in his hometown of Mumbai. As a junior architect at that firm, he gained experience in a wide range of projects, including animal hospitals and commercial interiors, while honing his skills in the residential arena.
Chinmay earned the degrees of Bachelor of Architecture from Mumbai University and a Master of Science in architecture from Pratt Institute. Outside of the office, he likes to spend time with his extended family and to cook. Indian dishes are his specialty, but he’s been adding other cuisines to his repertoire.
