Brandon loves learning and keeping busy. His ongoing objective is to enhance his knowledge of a wide variety of subjects within the built environment, so he takes on as many project responsibilities as possible from conceptual design through production. On any given day, he might be supporting the architecture department with massing and conceptual studies, contributing to the design of both new construction and repositioning, or producing construction documents for the firm’s multitude of projects.
Since he joined SGA in December of 2020, Brandon has focused on life sciences. His earlier experiences gave him a strong background in other sectors: Most recently, Brandon served as an architectural designer for more than two years at Building Blocks, a Chicago-based firm that specializes in façades. Previously, as a junior architect at BEA Architects in Miami, he focused on cruise ship terminals. In that role, he also honed his skills in technology, gaining expertise in using tools like 3D printers and drones.
Brandon earned a Master of Architecture degree from Florida International University. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, reading, and playing chess. One of his favorite opponents is a colleague in the New York office. Who wins most frequently? We don’t know – You can ask Brandon for the latest tally.
