Annabelle’s ongoing mission is to integrate technology into architecture. She is constantly expanding her knowledge of computer programming, digital fabrication, virtual simulation, and BIM to apply these innovations to SGA projects. As an integral member of the firm’s design team, she supports senior staff from the proposal stage through construction administration.
Before joining SGA in 2018, Annabelle worked simultaneously for three architectural firms that shared an office in New York City. During that time, she drew upon her technological expertise to advance the skills of her colleagues. She also explored and mastered new programs to improve the efficiency of the office workflows.
Annabelle received a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, where she took many electives in computer programming. She studied Python, designed video games, and created projects using extensive digital fabrication and parametric design techniques. One of these extended beyond the classroom to the SGA-designed Autodesk BUILD Space. Here her team developed a hanging centerpiece by programming a robotic arm to manipulate and form sheets of metal.
Outside of the office, Annabelle hones her computer programming skills, but also makes time for woodworking and sports. She practiced fencing for over a decade, but today focuses on kickboxing.
