Angel’s responsibilities encompass all phases of projects, from design through construction. Her versatility enables her to help wherever and whenever it is most needed, and she enjoys having a hand in “a little bit of everything.” Angel thrives on projects that involve either historic preservation or avant garde architecture. To her, buildings should be more than beautiful: They should be meaningful, alive, and representative of culture and memory.
Before joining SGA, Angel was working and studying at Northeastern, where she earned a Master of Architecture. As an architectural designer for the university, she was involved in the purchases of buildings and their renovations, interior design, project management, and procurement.
In addition to her master’s degree, Angel received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. During a college coop program she worked at the Tower of London for five months, improving accessibility to this landmark and applying modern technologies to its management.
A native of China, Angel and her family moved to the United States when she was in high school. In her spare time she loves to travel: She’s visited six continents so far and hopes to add Antarctica to the list soon.
