SGA has been hired by Marcus partners to design
Parcels O+P
a 270,000 square-foot campus that will anchor the life sciences cluster emerging in the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park as part of South Boston’s waterfront.
As part of a joint venture design effort between SGA and DREAM Collaborative, this signature life sciences facility has been 100% pre-leased by Ginkgo Bioworks, a world-renowned biology company headquartered in Boston.
The new building design is a modern interpretation of the district’s industrial vernacular, aiming to celebrate Raymond L. Flynn Park’s industrial ecosystem while offering a forward-looking expression. The adaptive reuse of the existing steel manufacturing building works to further enhance the industrial character of the neighborhood while offering a unique and dynamic amenity program to serve Ginkgo Bioworks.
