99 High Street
SGA’s architecture, interior design and branded environments teams transformed the façade, entry sequence and lobby at 99 High Street, a 32-floor building in the heart of Boston’s financial district.
Originally designed in 1971 by Pietro Belluschi and Emery Roth & Sons, the new design incorporates a relocated corner entry featuring a double-height glass façade.
Guests and tenants will enjoy a distinctive lobby experience that incorporates natural materials and organic elements, all of which serves as an extension of the nearby greenway. The design also features a refreshed “99” logo to be incorporated in signage elements as well as promotional collateral for the building.
The repositioning effort provides expanded retail opportunities and important modifications to the building’s infrastructure.
SGA’s innovative design concept was presented to the client virtually, using a proprietary approach that enables prospective clients to better visualize space. Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in October of 2018.
