Regenerative Design gives back to the grid and allows developers, architects, and project owners to achieve climate goals. SGA, as a leader in future-forward design and construction, is uniquely positioned to explain the steps required for this new way to build.

Lab buildings demand energy, but they can also give back. SGA is at the frontier of this effort. The EUI benchmarks of SGA’s projects are dramatically lower than the EUI averages for other notable lab buildings across the country. We are proud of our work and we continue to drive innovation forward, recognizing that even today’s best-case scenarios leave tremendous room for improvement and energy savings.
A mindset shift is required. SGA developed the following six commitments for Regenerative Design:
