Senior Marketing Manager


Summary

SGA is a national architecture and design firm, leading innovative design solutions across life sciences, corporate, commercial, academic markets and beyond. We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our team in either our Boston or New York City offices. As a sole marketing practitioner, you will be at the helm of strategic marketing initiatives while also playing a tactical role in the day to day. Responsibilities will span marketing, PR, copy writing and social media to include:


Essential Duties + Reponsibilities

  • Direct oversight of all SGA marketing to drive firm growth and diversification.
  • Produce proposals, qualifications, award submittals and presentation materials in coordination with SGA leadership.
  • Manage all outgoing campaigns to increase awareness and expand the business.
  • Utilize reporting tools to measure engagement and web traffic across channels. Make recommendations for shifts in overall strategy, keyword strategy, search engine optimization and potential paid strategies.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of marketing templates and data.
  • Organize and manage project photography based on approved parameters for schedule and budget.
  • Support the curation and development of SGA In The News email blasts. 
  • Drive communications strategy with senior leadership and outside agency support
  • Manage the firm’s PR agency
  • Coordinate with Public Relations and marketing consultants to identify opportunities for various industry awards and recognition and submit applications
  • Active participation in weekly strategic business development meetings. 
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of SGA marketing thought leadership, bios, and project descriptions.
  • Create and curate innovative and creative media content across social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook).
  • Plan the monthly content calendar across SGA’s key social media channels.
  • Balance in-house content curation and outsourced content curation.

  • Some travel between Boston and New York is required.

  • Continually advances their professional skills, contributes positively to projects and takes responsibility for successful completion of project tasks and assignments.
  • Articulates ideas well in both verbal and written communication.
  • Continues to increase knowledge base to remain current in the industry.

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering and/or construction industry
  • Proven track record of driving successful marketing initiatives 
  • A minimum of three years successful proposal writing
  • Experience managing marketing budget
