Project Designer
Shraddha Deshmukh is an emerging architectural designer who believes that architecture has the power to transform space into meaningful places. Her academic and professional interests center on climate-responsive design, public-interest architecture, and the integration of cultural context within the built environment.
Before joining SGA, Shraddha contributed to commercial interiors and material assemblies at IA Interior Architects and worked on the planning and programming of a Physical Therapy and Prosthetic Center at ALT Architecture, where her work emphasized healing environments, trauma-sensitive design, and user-centered spatial strategies. Her experience also includes lab planning and workplace design.
Shraddha holds a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture in Navi Mumbai, India. Outside of professional practice, she enjoys sketching, trekking, exploring new places, and cooking and crafts – pursuits that continually inform her creative process. She aspires to contribute to architecture that is socially and environmentally responsible, creating spaces that are experientially rich, contextually grounded, and responsive to the needs of their users.
